CCTV and Access Control Installation in Gauteng
@fnet Projects supplies, installs and maintains CCTV and access control systems for offices, estates, warehouses and industrial sites in Gauteng, from our base in Midrand. We plan camera coverage and entry points around your risks, install the hardware and cabling, and keep the system recording and working.
Plan the coverage before choosing cameras
A camera system is only useful if it records the right places at a quality you can use. We start with the risks: entrances, perimeters, stock, cash points and parking. Then we choose camera types, positions and storage to cover them, including at night.
Access control decides who gets in, where and when, using cards, tags, PIN codes or biometrics, and keeps a record of every entry. Linked to CCTV, it lets you match an entry event to the footage. With our Systems team, recordings can also be stored in the cloud and viewed on your phone.

Questions
How long is CCTV footage stored?
That depends on the number of cameras, the recording quality and the storage you choose. We size storage to the retention period you need, on site, in the cloud or both.
Can I view the cameras on my phone?
Yes. We set up secure remote viewing, so authorised people can see live and recorded footage on a phone or computer.
Does CCTV fall under POPIA?
Footage of identifiable people is personal information under POPIA. We help you place signage, limit who can view footage and set retention periods, so the system supports your compliance.
